Captain, We're Sinking was an American punk rock band from Scranton, Pennsylvania that became active in 2006. Formed by Bob Barnett and Leo Vergnetti, the group initially gained traction with their debut album, The Animals Are Out, released in 2008. The band's lineup included Mike May on drums until his departure in 2008, followed by Roberto Acosta, who joined briefly in 2009. Notable singles from this period include "It's A Trap" and "Montreal" in 2010 and 2011, respectively. In 2013, they released their second full-length album, The Future Is Cancelled, which included the track "Montreal". The band announced their disbandment on February 12, 2018. However, they have since played a limited number of shows with Ben Walsh, singer and guitarist of Tigers Jaw, taking over bass duties. Their album, The King of No Man, was released in 2017.
