Biography

Great Cynics were a punk rock group based in London, England. Formed in 2009 by Brighton-based singer-songwriter Giles Bidder under the name Cynics, the band relocated to London and supported acts such as Against Me! and Paint It Black. After legal threats from an American garage rock revival band, they renamed themselves Great Cynics. Their debut album Don't Need Much was released in June 2011. In April 2013, they released their second full-length album Like I Belong, which led to national and international tours with bands like Broadway Calls and We Are The Ocean. They opened the Lock Up Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in August 2013. Their third album I Feel Weird was released in April 2015.
