Biography

The Moons are an English indie rock band formed in 2008 in Northampton by singer and songwriter Andy Crofts. They gained early attention on Myspace, where Mojo magazine praised their instrumental track “Intermission Rag”. They released their debut studio album, Life on Earth (2010), through Acid Jazz Records. The record reached number 27 on the UK Indie Albums Chart and featured Paul Weller on tracks like “Last Night on Earth” (2010). They followed this with Fables of History (2012), which included the singles “Double Vision Love” (2012) and “English Summer” (2012). They signed with Schnitzel Records Ltd and continued their recording career with the albums Mindwaves (2014) and Pocket Melodies (2020). Throughout their career, they have toured extensively, supporting acts such as Beady Eye and Ocean Colour Scene.
