Biography
The Joykiller was an American punk rock supergroup from Huntington Beach, California. Formed in 1995 by Jack Grisham of T.S.O.L., Billy Persons of The Weirdos and Gun Club, and Ronnie King, the group initially included Ron Emory on guitar and Chris Lagerborg on drums. Their debut album, The Joykiller, was released on Epitaph Records in 1995. After Emory's departure in 1996, Sean Greaves joined as a guitarist. The band went on to release two more albums on Epitaph, including Static (1996) and Three (1997). In January 2015, they released their album, Music for Break-Ups. The Joykiller toured extensively across the U.S., Canada, and Europe throughout their career.
