The Deer Tracks, a Swedish electronic music duo consisting of David Lehnberg and Elin Lindfors, were formed in Gävle, Sweden. The pair met locally and began collaborating after Lindfors contributed vocals to an early project by Lehnberg, which led to a long-term creative partnership focused on blending electronic production with atmospheric and folk-influenced elements. The duo gained wider recognition through their conceptual series The Archer Trilogy, beginning with The Archer Trilogy Pt. 1 in 2011, followed by The Archer Trilogy Pt. 2 later that same year and The Archer Trilogy Pt. 3 in 2013.
