Biography

The Comrads, an American gangsta rap duo from Lynwood, California, was composed of Kelly "K-Mac" Garmon and Terrell "Gangsta" Anderson. The group gained attention in the Los Angeles area during the summer of 1997 with their debut single "Homeboyz" from their self-titled album. Following this breakthrough, they signed with Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records and released their second studio album Wake Up & Ball in 2000. After the duo disbanded, K-Mac joined Mack 10’s supergroup Da Hood for the release of Mack 10 Presents da Hood in 2002. Gangsta subsequently released his solo album Penitentiary Chances via Heat Rocc Entertainment in 2003.
