Biography
Texas Faggott is a Finnish electronic music duo formed in 1997. The ensemble consists of the musicians Tim Thick and Pentti Slayer. Their recording career began with tracks recorded at the Sörkkä Sonic studio near Helsinki alongside the former member Francoise Faggott. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized as suomisaundi-style psychedelic trance. Their discography includes the debut extended play Kössi Kuittaa (1998) and the debut studio recording Texas Faggott (1999). After Iiramo departed the group in 2000, they released the studio recording Petoman's Peflett (2000). Their discography includes the extended play Back to Mad (2000) and the studio recordings Pilluminati Cunt Roll (2004) and Kininigin (2008). They achieved professional recognition for sampling the phrase âTexas faggot!â (1968) from the film Coogan's Bluff.
