Tetsu Inoue is a Japanese ambient and electronic music producer born in Kyushu, Japan. He primarily made various types of ambient music and lived in Japan, San Francisco, and New York. His representative works include the solo albums Ambiant Otaku (1994), Organic Cloud (1995), World Receiver (1996), and Yolo (2005). His collaborations with overseas artists such as Pete Namlook and Bill Laswell also attracted attention, yielding albums such as Shades of Orion (1993) and Cymatic Scan (1995). After the release of his album Inland in 2007, Inoue disappeared from the public eye.
