Biography

TEMPURA KIDZ was a Japanese pop dance and vocal group formed in 2012. The five members began their career as backup dancers for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. TEMPURA KIDZ debuted on November 13, 2012, with the music video for their first song "Cider Cider", produced by Ram Rider. In January 2013, they released their first digital single "Strobe", which served as the ending theme for the anime Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter. Their physical debut came two months later with the single "One Step". The group's discography includes the album Minnano Dance Uta (2014) and the single "Lollipop" (2015). Notable achievements include providing the song "Tabechaitaino" for the Japanese dub of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. TEMPURA KIDZ continued to perform until March 2021, when members Yu-ka, P→★ and Ao graduated from the group.
