Taylor Bennett, born Taylor Matthew Bennett on January 19, 1996, in Peoria, Illinois, is an American rapper. Raised in the West Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, Bennett demonstrated an early interest in music alongside his brother Chance the Rapper. His musical journey began with local performances and collaborations, including opening for Nas at a Lollapalooza after-party in 2014. Bennett's debut mixtape, The Taylor Bennett Show, was released in December 2013, followed by Mainstream Music in May 2014. His first full album without sampled elements, Broad Shoulders, was released in December 2015 and featured collaborations with local artists such as Logan Parks and Talia Stewart. Notable singles include "Rock n Roll" (July 2018). Bennett has continued to release music, including the album Coming of Age in April 2022.
