Tabiabuè Bonney, known as Tabi Bonney, was born in Lomé, Togo, in 1977. He is a rapper who later settled in Washington, D.C., where he began his music career. While studying at Florida A&M University, Bonney formed the group Organized Rhyme with Haziq Ali, opening for artists like LL Cool J and OutKast. His breakthrough came in 2006 with the regional hit "The Pocket" from A Fly Guy's Theme. Bonney released several albums, dope (2009), Fre$h (2010), and The Summer Years (2011). Notable collaborations include features on songs like "Doin It" with Raheem DeVaughn. He also directed music videos for artists such as Wale and started a clothing line called Bonney Runway.
