Biography
Swimclub, an indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York, was formed in 2007. The group consisted of Greg Adams (vocals, guitar), Gene Davenport (vocals, bass), and Kevin Bryant (drums). Swimclub evolved from a previous band called The Users, which was active between 1999 and 2003 and released an EP titled Slaving for the Heartless. After moving to Manhattan in 2005, Adams reunited with Davenport and Bryant to form Swimclub. The band's debut album, Swimclub, was released in 2009 through Seehurst Records, and their first EP, Funhouse For Fiends, was released in 2011. The band's music has been featured in various media outlets, including the documentary "Eleven Minutes" and PBS series Roadtrip Nation.
