Biography
Supershirt, a German electronic music group from Rostock, was formed in 2006 by Henry Witt and Hendrik Menzl. The duo initially met around 2000 at their high school and began as a hip-hop formation under the name Halbe Hemden. Transitioning to electronic music, they renamed themselves Supershirt and released their debut album Du bist super on October 19, 2007, through Audiolith Records. Their second album, 8000 Mark, was released on October 23, 2009, and their lineup expanded in 2010 with the addition of Marco Pilzecker on guitar. Subsequent releases include Kunstwerk (2011) and the EP Der Vierte Affe (2014). The group disbanded in March 2015.
