Sundial Aeon, a Polish ambient-trance group, was formed in 2005 by RadosÅaw Kochman and Daniel Lulkowski. The duo was later joined by JarosÅaw Jacek and Patryk GÄgniewicz from the group Itoa, followed by Vladislav Isaev from Scann-Tec. Initially known as Sundial, the group changed its name to Sundial Aeon in 2007 to avoid confusion with a British band. Their debut album Metabasis was released in 2006 under their original name. The following year, they released their second album, Apotheosis, which reached Number 1 on the Psyshop chart. Notable albums include Mimesis (2011), inspired by the Riese project and the fate of its workers; Hypnosis (2013), a melancholic exploration of life and transience; and Synthesis (2021).
