Biography

Split Mirrors, a German synth-pop band from Münster in Westfalia, was formed in 1985 by Achim Jaspert and Andy Cay. The duo, along with Peter Delain on keyboards, released their first EPs, "The Right Time" and "Voices", in 1987. Their breakthrough came with the release of "The Right Time" (Let's Go Crazy mix), which led to concerts both domestically and internationally. In 1993, they released their debut album 1999. The band established their own recording studio, utilizing advanced digital technology for their productions. Throughout their career, Split Mirrors collaborated with various artists, including Marani, Mike Bauhaus, Andreas Martin, and Wolfgang Petry, contributing to over five million record sales and multiple gold and platinum awards. Notable releases include the album In London (2007) and From The Beginning (2011), which featured unreleased tracks from their early years.
