Biography

Space Frog is a German electronic music project in the field of dance and trance music. It consists of the producers Cet Merlin and Robin Otis. The rap vocals are by James Walls, who is also known as The Grim Reaper. Cet Merlin co-founded the label Energized Records in 1993 and released his first tracks with Space Frog, such as "Phases Part 1-3" (1993) and "Lost in Space" (1994). In 1997, the single "X-Ray (Follow Me)" was released, which entered the German top 10 of the singles charts and brought the project widespread attention. In the same year, "I Feel Ur Pain" follows with The Grim Reaper as a feature. In 1998, Space Frog released the album Welcome All Species. Other singles from this period include "Lost In Space '98", "Electro Volt" and "Die Unendlichkeit". In the early 2000s, "Terminator" (2001) and the new version "Follow Me 2002" were released. Newer versions or remix releases such as "Follow Me 2020" appear in collections and dance compilations.
