Shacke One was born on April 2, 1989, in Ost-Berlin. He came into contact with graffiti art early in life. Through MC Bomber, Shacke One became more involved with rapping, and the two released an EP together under the name Nordachse (2014), followed by a self-titled album in 2015. This collaboration caught the attention of Frauenarzt, who initially signed MC Bomber. Shacke One's debut solo album, Stecks Schmiers & Suffs, was released in 2016 and received critical acclaim from Juice Magazine. He continued with the albums Bossen & Bumsen (2017) and Shackitistan (2019). His music is characterized by connections to battle rap and old-school rap, with themes focusing on proletarian life in North Berlin.
