Biography
Sara Lowes, born on July 2, 1982, is an English singer and songwriter based in Manchester, England. She began her music career by writing and recording material with Gareth Cousins before joining The Earlies in 2003. Her first notable release was the collaboration 7-inch single with The Webb Brothers featuring "I've Been Waiting" on one side and "Ballad For Thomas Danger" on the other, released in 2005. Lowes' solo debut came with the mini-album Tomorrow's Laughter in 2008. She supported Tindersticks on their Hungry Saw album tour following her appearance on BBC 6 Music. In 2011, she released her full-length album Back to Creation. Throughout her career, Lowes has collaborated with various artists, including Jim Noir, King Creosote, and Micah P. Hinson. She also toured extensively, supporting acts such as Said the Whale in Canada and Coldplay on their European and American tours. In 2015, she released The Joy of Waiting.
