Biography
The Bevis Frond, a psychedelic rock band from London, was formed in 1986 and fronted by Nick Saloman. After a motorcycle accident in 1982, Saloman used his compensation to set up a home studio. The Bevis Frond's early albums were recorded at this home studio under their own label, Woronzow Records. In 1988, they signed with Reckless Records for the UK and US markets, which led to the re-release of their earlier works on CD and the production of Any Gas Faster. Notable collaborations include working with Pink Fairies' Twink on Magic Eye in 1990. After a dispute with Reckless Records, Saloman returned to Woronzow Records for subsequent releases. From 2018 on, the band continued to release albums regularly under Fire Records, including Weâre Your Friends, Man in 2018, Focus on Nature in 2024, and Horrorful Heights in 2026.
