Biography

RMB was founded in Germany in 1994. The band consists of Rolf Maier-Bode and Farid Gharadjedaghi. Both musicians work in the German techno and trance scene of the 1990s. RMB stands for the initials of the artist constellation involved and developed into a well-known project in the field of electronic club music. From the mid-1990s, RMB released its first productions, which quickly spread throughout the European club scene. In 1996, the track "Spring" was released, which became one of the project's best-known titles. In the same period, other formative tracks such as "Reality" and "Love Is an Ocean" were created. The album Passport to Heaven was also released in 1996. The album Our Trip to Planet Earth followed in 1997. Both releases anchor the sound between melodic trance and technoid structures. Another studio album, This World Is Yours, was released in 1999.
