Biography

Ray Luv is an American rapper born Raymond Tyson. Raised in Santa Rosa, California, he performed with Tupac Shakur in the group Strictly Dope. Ray Luv released the EP Who Can Be Trusted? (1993), which featured the single “Get My $Money On!” (1993). Ray Luv appeared on the soundtrack Above the Rim (1994). The major label debut album Forever Hustlin' (1995) reached number 21 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. The single “Last Nite” (1994) featured a music video directed by Tupac Shakur. Ray Luv performed on the compilation Best of Da Bay: A Series of Slaps (1997) and co-founded the video series Pushin' The Bay TV.
