Biography

RÃ¼diger Gleisberg, born in 1963 in Lauf and raised near Cologne, Germany, is a composer and music producer known for his symphonic-orchestral instrumental style. He initially played guitar during his school years before transitioning to keyboards. Gleisberg studied music and literature at the University of Paderborn and began his career as a composer and music producer in the late 1980s. In 1993, he released Baktun, followed by Damiana (1997), Elysium (1999), and Fragile Fairytales (2001). Notable collaborations include working with Elmar Schulte on the soundtrack for the 1998 film Blade, contributing tracks such as "Eclipse", "Soleil", and "Fearless". He also collaborated with Mathias Grassow, Bernd Scholl, and Alquimia. His albums The Sacred Path - A Voyage To Santiago De Compostela (2009), Island Peak - Journey To The Land Of Mystery (2013), and Symphonic Arts (2012) are among his significant works.
