Pouppée Fabrikk, a Swedish EBM band, was formed in 1988 by Henrik Björkk and Leif Holm from Karlskoga. Initially influenced by minimalistic electronic acts like Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft and Nitzer Ebb, the group's early sound was characterized as "Elektronisk Kroppsmusik" (EKM). Their debut album, Rage, was released in 1990, followed by Portent in 1991. The band took a break from performing in 1996 but reunited in 2000 for the Tinitus Electronic Festival and released the mini CD Elite Electronics in 2001. After several years of dormancy, the band returned with new member Christiaan Riemslag and embarked on numerous live performances. In 2013, they released The Dirt, a compilation of unreleased and remastered demo tracks along with new songs. In 2020, they released Armén.
