Biography

Osker was an American punk rock and pop punk trio formed in 1998 in Los Angeles, California. The group consisted of vocalist and guitarist Devon Williams, born in 1982, bassist Dave Benitez, and drummer Phil Drazik. Through a demo sent to producer Mike Trujillo, the ensemble signed with Epitaph Records. The band released its debut studio album, Treatment 5, in 2000, which featured themes of sarcasm and adolescent anger. Osker performed live shows where Williams was known for insulting the audience. In 2001, the group released its second and final studio album, Idle Will Kill, produced by Trujillo. Following the departure of Drazik, the ensemble utilized a succession of temporary drummers. Williams and Benitez disbanded the group in February 2002. Williams subsequently formed the project Fingers-Cut, Megamachine, and Drazik joined the band End on End.
