Biography
ONUKA, a Ukrainian electro-folk band, was formed in 2013 by Yevhen Filatov and Nata Zhyzhchenko. The group blends traditional Ukrainian folk instruments with electronic music elements. ONUKA released their debut EP Look on May 15, 2014, which topped the iTunes Ukraine chart. Their self-titled debut album ONUKA, released on October 15, 2015, became the best-selling record of the month in Ukraine's iTunes and featured hits like "Zavtra." ONUKA performed at the Hungarian Sziget Festival in 2015 and released their third album MOZAÐKA in July 2017. The band represented Ukraine at the International Festival Meet in Beijing in 2021 and released their fifth album ROOM on July 21, 2023.
