Blanca Batista Santiago, known professionally as Nyasia, was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. Nyasiaâs breakthrough came with the 1991 single "Now And Forever", which introduced her to a wider audience and led to her signing with Micmac Records. She followed with the 1992 single "Who's Got Your Love", which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at Number 95, marking her first chart success. In 1994 she released her selfâtitled album Nyasia, which included the tracks "Take Me Away" and "Midnight Passion", further cementing her presence in the freestyle genre. The 1995 single "Two Time Lover" and the 1996 release "I Feel The Way U Do" expanded her catalog.
