Judith "Judy" Torres, born on June 13, 1968 in The Bronx, New York City, is an American musician known for her contributions to freestyle music and dance-pop. Torres began her musical journey with club hits such as "Please Stay Tonight" and "Come into My Arms". Her breakthrough came with the single "No Reason To Cry", which peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot Dance Charts. This success led to her debut album Love Story, released in 1989, featuring tracks like "Weakness of the Body". In 1992, she released her second album, My Soul. Torres has maintained a presence on New York's popular radio station KTU for over 17 years. Her notable singles include "Back in Your Arms Again" (2001) and "The Air I Breathe" (2004), the latter featuring freestyle artist Collage. In 2008, she released the anthemic single "Hell No", an empowering track for abused women.
