Biography
Exposé, an American vocal group, was formed in 1984 in Miami, Florida. The original lineup consisted of Sandra "Sandeé" Casañas, Alejandra "Alé" Lorenzo, and Laurie Miller. In 1985, Exposé signed with Arista Records and re-released their debut single "Point of No Return", which became a Number 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The group's first studio album Exposure was released in 1987, featuring the hits "Come Go with Me" and "Let Me Be the One". In 1988, Exposé achieved their highest-charting hit with "Seasons Change", which reached Number 1 on the US Hot 100. The group's second album What You Don't Know was released in 1989 and certified gold, featuring the singles "What You Don't Know" and "When I Looked at Him". In 1992, Gioia Bruno left the group due to health issues and was replaced by Kelly Moneymaker. The self-titled album Exposé was released in 1995, featuring the singles "I Wish the Phone Would Ring" and "I'll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me". After an extensive hiatus, the group reunited briefly in 2003, returning in 2011 with a reworked version of "Point of No Return", followed by "Shine On" in 2012. In March 2015, Billboard magazine named Exposé the eighth most successful girl group of all time.
