Anthony Torres, known professionally as Nu JerZey Devil, was born on January 10, 1980, in the Bronx, New York. He is an American rapper and music producer who grew up in New Jersey. Initially collaborating with notable rappers such as The Game, Fat Joe, Lil Scrappy, and Busta Rhymes, Torres decided to pursue a solo rap career full-time in 2009. He signed with SoBe Entertainment and released his debut single, "Different Girls" featuring Lil Wayne, which became a hit. In the same year, he released the mixtape Art of the Devil. His studio album, Mr. Red Karpet, was released in August 2009. Following his departure from Black Wall Street Records in April 2011, Torres continued to release music independently, including the mixtape Mr. Red Bottoms and the album From the Bottom to the Top.
