Biography
Daniel W. Jones (performing as âNickelus Fâ) is an American hip hop rapper, songwriter, and producer. Born in Portland, Oregon, Jones moved to Richmond, Virginia, where he began his career. In 2000, he placed second in the regional Source Unsigned Hype Emcee Battle and was named âUnsigned Hypeâ in The Source. Jones served as the champion of BETâs 106 & Park âFreestyle Fridayâ for seven consecutive weeks in 2007 and was inducted into the BET Hall of Fame. His discography began in 2002 with Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, followed by Pistols and Teks (2003) and B Stands for Burglars (2004). Later releases include R.A.R.E. (Reliving A Real Experience) (2009) and The Specimen (2023). Jones performed on Drakeâs mixtapes Room for Improvement (2006) and Comeback Season (2007). He received the Gold Addy Award for Art Direction and is a member of the Association of Great Minds (AGM).
