Neocolours, a Filipino pop-rock band, was formed in February 1987 in Manila from the remnants of WaterColors. The group included founding members Ito Rapadas on vocals, Jimmy Antiporda on keyboards/vocals, Marvin Querido on keyboards, Josel Jimenez on guitar, Paku Herrera on bass, and Niño Regalado on drums. Their debut album Making It (1988) reached platinum sales, marking a significant moment in the Philippine recording industry. The band's second album, Tuloy Pa Rin (1990), also achieved platinum status and featured several classic OPM tracks. Despite their initial success, Neocolours faced declining popularity with the release of Truth & Consequence (1992). Various founding members left the group between 1991 and 1994, leading to its eventual disbandment. In 1999, encouraged by fan interest, the band released a compilation album titled Emerge: The Best of Neocolours, which reached double platinum sales in the Philippines.
