Swimmer One, a Scottish musical group, was founded in 2002 by Hamish Brown and Andrew Eaton. Laura Cameron Lewis joined in 2007. The band released their debut single "We Just Make Music For Ourselves" in 2002 and first album The Regional Variations in September 2007 under Biphonic Records. Their music was categorized as indie pop and indietronica. In May 2010, they released their second album, Dead Orchestras. Swimmer One collaborated with various artists including theatre group Highway Diner in 2006 and director Cora Bissett and playwright David Greig on Whatever Gets You Through the Night in 2012. Their song "But My Heart is Broken" from The Regional Variations was featured in the 2009 film Spread.
