Biography
Myriam Fares is a Lebanese singer and actress. She was born on May 3, 1983, in Kfar Chellal, South Governorate. She became interested in the performing arts at a very early age, attending ballet classes from age 5. Later on, she studied music at the National Conservatory of Music, and at 16 years old she participated in the Lebanon Song Festival, earning the first prize. Her debut album Myriam was released in 2003, containing the single âAna Wel Shouk,â which brought her attention in the Arabic pop world. In 2005, she released the album Nadini, followed by Betâoul Eih in 2008. This release was notable for including songs in Egyptian, Lebanese, and Khaleeji dialects. In 2009, she began venturing into acting, starring in the film version of the play Silina. In 2011, Myriam Fares ended her relationship with her record label and started her own titled Myriam Music. Through Myriam Music, she released her fourth album Min Oyuni (2011). This was followed by her sixth album Aman in 2015. Over the course of the following years, she released several singles such as âGhaddara Ya Dounyaâ and âHatha El Helo.â In 2022, she recorded the song âTukoh Takaâ for the soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, collaborating with Nicki Minaj and Maluma.
