Biography
Willi Schumacher, known professionally as Midas 104, is a German electronic music producer and DJ born in 1987 (or 1988) in Berlin. During his school years, Schumacher produced hip-hop beats before transitioning to house music. He worked at the Berlin club Kater Holzig before starting his recording career. In 2013, Midas 104 released his debut EP Don't Worry with Joshua Jesse on the Katermukke label, followed by the EP Impuls on Einmusika Recordings. His subsequent discography included the EPs Eos (2014), Humming Top (2015), Sexual Distortion (2017), Umweg (2018), and EGO (2019). In 2022, he released the EP Wilmas Traum in collaboration with T.M.A. Midas 104 performed at events including the Fusion Festival and Ikarus Festival, and played sets at venues such as Kater Blau, Watergate, Ritter Butzke, and Wilde Renate.
