Biography

Melon Jelly is a soul-influenced blues band formed in 2023 by singer and guitarist Mark Nesmith. The Texas-based trio, also featuring Jason McCollum on bass and Stephen Droddy on drums, toured blues festivals and won the Houston Blues Challenge in 2024. After the release of two singles in 2023, "Telephone" and "Out of My Head", followed by "Chunk " in 2024, the album The Road to Memphis followed in 2025, reaching #15 on the Billboard Magazine Blues Album Chart and #10 on the Billboard Blues Album Chart.
