Biography
Originally from California, Grace Bowers' early passion for the blues led her to become a guitarist and form her first band at the age of seventeen. After taking technique lessons on a video channel, she took her turn playing covers of her favorite songs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Becoming a Gibson brand ambassador, she performed at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium at a reunion of The Allman Brothers Band and appeared at concerts by artists such as Devon Allman, Jared James Nichols and The Gaslight Anthem. In 2023, she performed with her band at the Newport Folk Festival, accompanying Margo Price and Valerie June. The album Wine on Venus was released in 2024, credited to Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge.
