Eric Lindell, born in 1969 in Northern California, is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. He began his music career at age 15, influenced by artists like Fishbone and Black Flag. Lindell's recording career started with the regional release of Bring it Back (1996). In 2006, he signed with Alligator Records, leading to national and international tours. His debut album for Alligator was Change in the Weather (2006), featuring the radio single "Give It Time", which received significant airplay on adult album alternative stations and appeared on an episode of Boston Legal. His subsequent albums include Low on Cash, Rich in Love (2008) and Gulf Coast Highway (2009). He performed approximately 100 live shows annually.
