Biography

Led by vocalists Marcos Estrada and Armando "Kiluy" Arias, Los Valedores de la Sierra is a Regional Mexican musical group formed in January 2007 in León, Guanajuato. Known for blending the best of norteña and banda music, they quickly gained popularity in their home state and beyond. Their early hits, such as "Para que le hago daño," "Márchate ahora," "Tira que jala," and "Y cómo le hago," garnered millions of views on different streaming platforms, solidifying their place in the Mexican music landscape. Their debut album, Unplugged (2009), featured successful singles like "La mariposa" and "Adicto a ti," laying the foundation for their growing fanbase. Over the years, they released several more albums, including Todos Contra los Valedores (2010), Para Qué la Falsedad (2011), En Ascenso (2013), and Déjalo Fluir (2015), which was particularly successful with the hit "Devuélveme la vida." Their ability to evolve musically was further demonstrated with the release of the albums Consolidación (2017), Qué Nivel (2018), and A Otro Nivel (2019). Following a nearly fatal car accident involving Marcos Estrada in 2021, the group quickly resumed their activities and released the compilations Necesito Party - Lo Mejor de los Valedores, Vol. 1 (2021) and Tira Que Jala - Lo Mejor de los Valedores, Vol. 2 (2022), as well as the EP Amor Fugaz (2023).
