Alta Consigna is a Tijuana-born sierreño/corrido quintet formed in 2014 by teenage friends whose early lineup included Crecer Germán (lead vocals/bass), Aarón Gil (vocals), Axel RamÃrez (vocals/guitar), Dani Vidal (tuba), and Alan Nieblas (requinto); following Germánâs 2015 departure to pursue a solo career, the band added bassist Esteban González and pushed on from DIY, phone-shot videos to label releases. Their breakthrough came in 2016 with two albums on Rancho Humilde, Asà Nacà and Culpable Tú, the latter spinning off streaming staples like âCulpable Tú,â âTe Deseo Lo Mejor,â and âLos Ninis,â while âCulpable Túâ entered Billboardâs Hot Latin Songs chart in 2017 and expanded their national footprint. The band consolidated momentum with No Te Pido Mucho in 2017âhome to âDÃselo,â âNo Puedo Olvidarla,â and the title trackâthen earned a nomination for Artist of the Year, New at the 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards as they issued a string of live sets (including Desde la Oficina and the multi-volume Alta Consigna Con Tuba series). After one-off releases and touring through the late 2010s, a new singles run arrived with âDesconocidos,â âPasa la Ubi,â and 2024 drops like â14 de Febrero,â âPara Mi Viejo,â and âMe Voy,â signaling a refreshed presence on the Regional Mexican scene. The group opened 2025 with the concert album Desde Las Pulgas Tijuana âEn Vivoâ, followed in April by the studio set Las de Siempre on H Records VIP and the mid-year single âNo Somos Nada,â capped by the late-summer release âA Pesoâ with Adrian L Santos.
