Biography

Stefano Izábal Gaxiola, best known as Fano Gaxiola, is a Regional Mexican singer-songwriter born on September 29, 1991, in Culiacán, Sinaloa. He began pursuing music in his teens, learning guitar to sing at family gatherings, and around 2015 he adopted the stage name Fano Gaxiola and started performing locally. By 2017 he was opening shows for groups such as Duelo, Conjunto Primavera and La Séptima Banda, and in 2018 he recorded his first full-length, No Te Vas A Arrepentir, a 13-track album largely written by himself that introduced songs like "Bella Niña" and the title track "No Te Vas a Arrepentir". In 2018–2019 he consolidated his profile with digital singles including "La Coloreteada", "Bella Niña", "Ojalá" and "La Mejor Versión de Mi". His second album En Mi Voz appeared on August 8, 2020, collecting 13 mostly cover versions with a regional romantic slant alongside originals such as "¿Cómo Pagarte?". On March 1, 2021 he released Mi Sentir (Unplugged), a 19-song acoustic set featuring unplugged takes like "La Mejor Versión de Mi (Unplugged)" and "No Te Vas a Arrepentir (Unplugged)", while that same year he issued the balada norteña single "Sé Que Tengo Razón", written by Luciano Luna. In 2023 he turned to the stage with the live album Pisteadoras en Vivo, Vol. 1 (En Vivo) and singles such as "Voy a Olvidarte" and "Con la Frente Arriba". From 2024 he leaned into a harder, corrido-leaning sound with "Modo Perra", "2 Más 2", "Seguimos Generando", "Sigan Hablando" and "El Plebe Aquel", and in 2025 he expanded his live series with Pisteadoras en Vivo Vol.2 (En Vivo) and concert singles like "Compréndela (En Vivo)", "Para Impresionarte (En Vivo)" and "Atrapado (En Vivo)."
