Lina Larissa Strahl was born on December 15, 1997 in Seelze, near the capital of Lower Saxony, Hanover. In addition to her early musical self-education, in which the singer learns to play the piano and guitar, her talent as a songwriter is also revealed. Strahl presented this to a wider audience in 2013: with "Freakin' Out" , she received the award for "Young Songwriter of the Year" in the Dein Song competition organized by the public children's channel KiKA. While the song entered the German singles charts at number 63, further high-profile appearances followed in the same year, for example on TV Total. In 2014, she appeared on the big screen for the first time in the film Bibi & Tina - in the role of the eponymous Bibi Blocksberg. In 2016, Lina turned her attention back to music as a solo act and released her debut album Official, which was released by BMG and won a gold record in Germany with over 100,000 units sold . With her soundtrack to the film Bibi und Tina: Mädchen gegen Jungs, in which the young actress once again plays the lead role, she also made it to number one in the German album charts for the first time in 2016, with the lead single "Mädchen gegen Jungs" also making it onto the charts - reasons enough for her to be nominated as "Artist Pop National" at the ECHO Awards, before her second solo album Ego was released in 2017 and shook up the charts throughout the DACH region. Her Fan Von Dir tour, which also took place in 2017, was followed in 2018 by her next album R3bellin, which managed to take second place in the German LP parade. The multi-talented performer then released two more EPs, Meins (2020) and Stay at Home (2021), now on Bubi's record label. In 2023, the artist released the album 24/1, which reached number 9 in the German charts. At the beginning of 2026, Lina returned with the album Melodrama.
