Alex Aiono, who was born in Phoenix, Arizona, on February 16, 1996, and grew up in California, first came to prominence as a teenager with his acoustic covers of hit songs, which he broadcast on his video channel. However, it was with original compositions, "It Doesn't Get Better" and "Alphabet Song", that the young multi-instrumentalist and singer inaugurated his discography in 2013. Guitarist, pianist and drummer, he has a fondness for folk, as evidenced by the Young & Foolish EP released the same year. After a North American tour supporting the band R5, Alex Aiono, who was only seventeen at the time, was signed by the BMG label and collaborated with established artists such as John Legend (who co-wrote "Young & Foolish") and Babyface. While feeding his video channel with new covers of Twenty One Pilots, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes or The Weeknd, he stars in the internet series Royal Crush (from which the track "Ocean Love" is taken, 2014) and Guidance (2015). At the end of 2015, on his own label Apt. 203 Records the album of Christmas songs Alexmas. The following year, he composes the track with French producer Feder the track "Lordly". However, it was with one of his covers, Drake's "One Dance" coupled with "Hasta El Amanecer", that he scored his biggest hit in France in 2016 (No. 69). The following year, the "Hot2Touch " trio with Felix Jaehn and Hight charted in several European countries, followed by several urban pop singles with multiple influences, and in 2020 a first album, The Gospel at 23, placed under the sign of gospel. In 2024, a second album, Old Ways, was released with a pop flavour.
