Kim Shin Woo (born November 30, 1966), real name Kim Jung Woo, is a South Korean singer known for his heartfelt ballads and folk rock style. He debuted in 1994 with his first album Kim Shin Woo - 1994 and gained widespread recognition in 1996 with “MARIE,” a hit song from the popular animated film Armageddon. His popularity continued with the 1999 release of “Gwigeoraesa (귀거래사),” which later became a hit again as part of the OST for MBC’s drama To Love You to Death.
