Kim Shin Woo (born November 30, 1966), real name Kim Jung Woo, is a South Korean singer known for his heartfelt ballads and folk rock style. He debuted in 1994 with his first album Kim Shin Woo - 1994 and gained widespread recognition in 1996 with âMARIE,â a hit song from the popular animated film Armageddon. His popularity continued with the 1999 release of âGwigeoraesa (ê·ê±°ëì¬),â which later became a hit again as part of the OST for MBCâs drama To Love You to Death. Despite facing conflicts with his agency and distribution issues, he resumed full-scale musical activities with his 2001 album The Man. Known for years as a "faceless singer," he reappeared on KBS1âs Concert 7080 in 2012. In 2015, he released his sixth album Slow & Analogue, marking his return to the music scene. He holds both a bachelorâs and masterâs degree in business administration from Myongji University.
