Bang Ju-yeon (born Bang Il-mae on January 25, 1951, in Seoul, South Korea) is a South Korean singer known for her contributions to contemporary folk music. She gained popularity in the 1970s with hit songs like "Your Heart (ë¹ì ì ë§ì)" and "Please Return My Love (ì¬ëë§ì ëë ¤ì¤ì)", which established her as a leading figure in the Korean folk and pop music scene. In 1974, she released the album You Donât Know (ê·¸ëë 몰ë¼) / Think About It (ìê°í´ ë³´ì¸ì), further cementing her status as a beloved artist. Throughout her career, she released numerous albums, including Bang Ju-yeon Solo Album (1972) and Golden (1973), solidifying her legacy in the industry. Even in later years, she continued to release music, such as Masterpiece Collection (2021).
