Kim Jungâmin (real name ê¹ì ì, born Augustâ¯23â¯1968) is a South Korean singer who began his career in the early 1990s after training with True Music. His debut single in 1994 introduced him to the Kâpop scene, and the following year he released the studio album 4Love on Novemberâ¯1â¯1995 under Beyond Music, which established his presence on the charts. In 1996 he followed with Change, released on Octoberâ¯1â¯1996, and in 1997 he issued Best Album, a compilation that consolidated his growing popularity. The 1998 release Jumpâ¯98 on Marchâ¯1â¯1998 continued this momentum, featuring the hit single "Jump" that reached the top ten in domestic sales.Kim Jungâmin maintained a steady output, releasing KOR: 372,079 on Februaryâ¯27â¯2002 and KOR: 269,249 on Januaryâ¯24â¯2003, both under new labels, before signing with M Cloud Entertainment for the 2009 release KOR: 63,179. Throughout his career he collaborated with prominent producers and participated in national tours, earning recognition for his vocal range and stage presence. His work received several industry nominations, and his 2003 album achieved a peak position of numberâ¯5 on the Korean Albums Chart.
