Jo Kwan-woo, born on August 3, 1965, is a prominent South Korean singer. He made his debut in October 1994 with My First Story under Hanguk Albums and quickly gained recognition with his second album, Memory, released in November 1995 under Doremi Records. This album sold over 3 million copies and is widely regarded as one of the best albums of the 1990s by South Korean music critics. Following this success, Jo Kwan-woo continued to release a series of full-length albums, including My 3rd Story About... in 1996 under Doremi Records, which sold over 1.3 million copies and Waiting in 1997 under Cream Records, which sold over 1 million copies. His subsequent releases include Paradise Lost (1999) and Jo Kwanwoo #6 (2001) (both charting at number 5), My Memories 2 (2002), and Impression (2003). Jo Kwan-woo's career also includes appearances on television shows such as Our Night (2011) and films like Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island (2015). He returned in 2018 with 9th studio album Begin Again which charted in the top 100.
