Biography

Kenji Siratori is a Japanese avant-garde writer, poet, and composer who was born in Chitose, Japan, in 1975. He achieved professional recognition in 2002 with the publication of the book Blood Electric and is famous for his experimental cyberpunk literature and for his prolific collaborations within the international industrial and noise music scenes. Siratori is known for his "hyperproduction" and began collaborating with international underground artists in 2005, serving as a lyricist, narrator, and video artist. His discography includes numerous collaborative recordings such as Japanese Spoken Noise (2006) with GX Jupitter-Larsen, The Vortex Vault (2006) with Andrew Liles, and Mad Blockhead Tale (2006) with Torturing Nurse. He has also released the solo recordings FUCKNAMLOAD (2006) and Chromosome Murder (2007). Throughout his career, he has worked with musicians across genres including dark ambient, industrial, and EBM, such as the Czech composer Vladimír Hirsch on the project Epidemic Mind (2008).
