Kenji Okahira (born March 28, 1979 in Kayaki-cho (now Nagasaki City), Nagasaki Prefecture) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and rock/pop singer. In 1998, he formed the folk duo 19 and debuted with the single " Ano Ao wo Koete" (1998), which became a major hit, followed by " Ano Kamihikoki Kumorisu Kudarete " (1999) and " Mizu, Riku, Sora, Infinity " (2000), which also made it to the NHK Kohaku Utagassen. After the breakup of 19 in 2002, he worked as vocalist and guitarist for the rock band 3B LAB. As a solo artist, he released the single " Confession" (2008) and the albums " Punk Folk" (2008) and " Purity" (2009), and went on a 47-prefecture nation-wide storytelling tour.
