Japanese punk rock group, 3B Lab, was formed in 2001 by Okahira Kenji, Chiba Takatoshi, and Tamakoshi Masahiro. Initially known as 3B Labâ, the band's name reflected its three members, each with B-type blood, symbolized by the star (â) representing a bright future. The group released their debut album LABORATORY #1 in July, 2003, marking their official entry into the music scene. In November of that year, they released their first single "æã®ç " ("Star Sand"). The band's lineup expanded to include Uneoki Shuji and Shoji, leading to a name change to 3B Labâs. Their subsequent albums HEARTBREAK #2 (May 2004) and 黿EVOLUTION #3 (June 2005) further solidified their presence in the J-rock genre. Notable singles from this period include "Let's HappiecE Life!"
