Hirakawachi ItchÅme, a Japanese folk music group consisting of brothers RyÅ«nosuke Hayashi and NaojirÅ Hayashi, was formed in 2000. The duo, originally from Shizuoka Prefecture, were influenced by their father who taught them to play guitar. Their musical journey began when RyÅ«nosuke started writing his own songs after learning folk tunes from the 1970s and 1980s, eventually inviting NaojirÅ to join him. They gained local recognition performing at music events and festivals, leading to their professional debut in November 2003 with the single "Tokyo". Their first album, Enpitsu de Tsukuru Uta, released on July 28, 2004, reached Number 7 spot on the Oricon Chart. The group continued to release albums and singles, including notable tracks like "æ¡ã®é ãå¥ãé" (2004) and "æ°¸é ã®ç´æ" (2007). In 2007, NaojirÅ Hayashi made his acting debut in the film Lemon no koro, also contributing a song to its soundtrack. Hirakawachi ItchÅme disbanded in 2008, citing academic pursuits as their reason for disbanding. Their final single was "Tokyo", a re-recording of their debut track.
